Are the stripes printed on one or both sides?

Basically all products are printed on both sides. There are 2 design types: endless motifs and motif prints (whole motifs).

Endless motifs are printed with the same motif on both sides.	Motif prints are printed with the motif on one side, the reverse is printed in plain color.

How do you attach the strips? - How does the attachment work?

The printed privacy screen is woven into the lattice bar fence in rows by pulling the strips alternately in front of and behind the bars in a row.

If you vary the number of bars that you braid, you can create additional optical effects.

Is it really that easy to assemble? What do I have to consider?

Endless motifs:
The fence print privacy screen is supplied on a roll of approx. 26 m. You can either shorten the privacy protection strips to the length of a single fence element (please allow a few cm to protrude for attachment) or weave them over the entire length of the fence, i.e. over several fence elements, if you do not have a height offset between the individual elements.

When drawing in, care should be taken to ensure that the subject does not form images. Pictures means that distinctive features of the motif can form unwanted stripes through frequent repetitions. You can avoid this by weaving it irregularly.

Motif prints:
The fence print motif prints are supplied with 9 markings that you still have to cut along. After that, you can start braiding right away.

The privacy strips are attached to the end of the fence with clamping rails. In this way, the flexible privacy protection strips find their proper hold almost by themselves. The braided privacy protection strips lie firmly and tightly in the bars of your fence, and you can enjoy your beautiful, new garden sight.

Can I also design my own fence?

Of course. With our editor, creating your own fence motif is child's play. Upload your own photo or choose your suitable image or sample from our partners Fotolia or PatternDesign.

How many clamping rails do I need for assembly?

The fence pressure sight protection strips are attached at the beginning and at the end of a row with one clamping rail each, so you need 2 clamping rails per row. Take that number times the number of rows you want to braid through in your project.

We offer the clamping rails in a packaging unit of 25 pieces each. In any case, this amount is sufficient for the installation of the fence print privacy protection strips on a standard fence element.

In which colors are the clamping rails available?

We currently only have the clamping rails in the color black in our range.

How long do the stripes and color last when exposed to sun, wind and weather?

Highly lightfast dyes, which are also used in the automotive industry, are used for printing. Our products performed very well in lightfastness tests, with marks of 7 and better 7 on a scale from 0 to 8.

The colors become paler over the years, but in steps that you will not perceive yourself, because the change will occur over the entire surface and will not occur selectively. This cannot be completely avoided if the weather is constant.

We assume the legally stipulated 2 year warranty. No further guarantees can be given, as the individual parameters (location, solar radiation, etc.) are always different and we have no influence on them.

Is that a PVC film or a tarpaulin?

It is not a film, but a technical fabric made of 100% polyester fleece with a weight of approx. 300 g / m² and a thickness of approx. 1,00 - 1,50 mm..

Our carrier material consists of a dimensionally stable 100% polyester fleece fabric, so it is not PVC or similar.

Why is PVC so harmful to the environment?
The most dangerous plastic (PVC) is at the top of the Greenpeace plastic pyramid! As the name polyvinyl chloride (PVC) suggests, the highly toxic chemical element chlorine is an important component of plastic. As a result, PVC causes serious health and environmental problems from its manufacture to its disposal. Soft PVC releases harmful plasticizers. Recycling is problematic due to the large number of additives, and incineration can produce toxic dioxins. Dioxin is carcinogenic for humans, it acts like a hormone in the human and animal body and is harmful to the environment even in very small quantities. For these reasons it is only understandable that both Greenpeace and the federal government urgently advise to avoid PVC whenever possible!

Will my fence withstand the wind if I weave in the fence print privacy strips?

The static calculation (wind load, etc.) of your fence must be carried out on site, we ask you to take this into account.

I need less than 26m / 24cm width / .. can I get that too?

Our rolls are always 26m long and approx. 19cm wide. Different sizes are z. Unfortunately not possible at the moment.

Can i get a sample?

We would be happy to send you some samples. However, we ask for your understanding that we cannot send you a sample of all motifs. This would go a bit beyond the scope. Please let us know your 2-3 favorites using our contact form , of which you will then receive samples immediately.
